After being shot in the head and losing a fiance to suicide Vstylez has stayed persistant in the pursuit of his dreams. Since the days of the Rhythm Kitchen and the Legendary Hip Hop Shop Vstylez has been a fixture in and around the Detroit Hip Hop Scene,after being signed to D Boy Records an independent solo artist he then help form a group in which he was included "Anomaly" that received local love and mixshow airplay on the leading urban stations in the city 105.9(now Hot 102.7) and FM 98 WJLB. Vstylez left the group due to creative differences with management and went on to pursue a solo career under his own company/label Rebel Soul Movement(RSM Recordings). With a new purpose and Direction Vstylez began recording his solo project "Masterpiece Theater @ odds til I'm even" which is scored by Big Gov, with additional scores by DJ DEZ of Slum Village and Loose Cannon who composed the lead score "Clap Ya Hands" featuring the legendary Mr.Cheeks.With a determined street grind and persistant internet networking Vstylez music is being played internationally in Japan, Italy and Germany and over here in the states "Clap ya Hands" is being played by Power Summit West Coast DJ of the year B Mello. Vstylez received a unusual 2 way request from none other than the legendary producer from Gang Starr DJ Premier requesting another score "First 2 Rise" ft Big Gov, with New York Legend O.C. from Diggin in the Crates and Royce 5 9 on the remix produced by MoSS(Kilo's/Ghostface Killah) with the scratches provided by "The World Famous DJ Dez". In his home town Vstylez became a staple on the citys 1 Hip Hop show Spark After Dark on HOT 102.7 and has been on local mixtapes as well as the national mixtapes by "Cornerstone 85 Motown Movement",Cornerstone 97 and Cornerstone 100 hosted by DJ's Green Lantern and Revolution(The Big 3). Vstylez has been able to move upwards in the amount of 5,000 units in Vinyl, CD's and Downloads,his music has appeared on local and national websites such as XXLmag.com,HipHopDx.com and Allhiphop.com just to name a few,he's also appeared in HipHopWeekly in the "Indie Grind" section.
